Wild & Woven Retreat

A weekend of slow stitching, movement and mountain air

April 16–18, 2027 · Fernie Mountain House, Fernie Alpine Resort, BC

Wild & Woven is a retreat by Stitched by Marissa and Fern & Flame Wellness, bringing together creativity, wellness and nature. A space to slow down, explore, connect, and reconnect with yourself and others.

Two days of stitching workshops, wellness and yoga sessions, shared meals, and time outside, in a ski-in/ski-out home on the hill with a great room full of windows, a deck with a fire pit and hot tub, and a cedar sauna with a cold plunge.

What's on

• Mushroom Needle Felting – sculpt a little forest-floor mushroom from wool roving
• The Timberline Scarf – learn Tunisian crochet with the scarf pattern from STITCHED
• Yoga & wellness sessions – optional sessions with Taylor of Fern & Flame Wellness woven throughout the weekend

Plus shared meals, time outside, the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge, and evenings stitching by the fire. More to be announced.

Two ways to join

Local Day Package · $375
For Fernie and area locals who want the full retreat without the overnight stay. All stitching workshops, all wellness sessions, brunch and dinner, retreat materials and goodie bag. Limited to 15 guests.

Overnight Stay Package · from $650
Two nights at Fernie Mountain House with all meals, workshops and wellness sessions, the hot tub, sauna and cold plunge, and evening stitching by the fire. Shared rooms from $650, private rooms with their own bath from $800. Only 9 beds.

Tickets and gift cards go on sale Friday, November 13, 2026. If you'd like a reminder the morning they go live, email stitchedbymarissa@gmail.com with “Wild & Woven” in the subject line.

• Guests must be 19+
• Overnight guests sharing a private room with a partner or friend add a Local Day Package for them
• Full schedule to be announced
• All tickets are non-refundable; see the cancellation policy below

Cancellation policy

Wild & Woven is a small retreat, and the venue, meals, instructors and materials are paid for in full well before the weekend. Because of that, all tickets are final sale and non-refundable once purchased.

If you can't attend. You may transfer your ticket to another person up to 21 days before the retreat (by Friday, March 26, 2027). Just email stitchedbymarissa@gmail.com with their name and contact details, and they'll need to complete the participant waiver before the retreat. No transfers within 21 days of the retreat.

If we cancel. In the unlikely event Wild & Woven must cancel, you'll receive a full refund. We aren't responsible for travel, lodging or other personal expenses.

Weather or emergencies. If severe weather, a natural disaster or an emergency forces us to postpone, your ticket automatically moves to the new dates. Refunds aren't issued in these circumstances, but you may transfer your spot to another person if you can't attend the new dates.
